DOWANOL™ PM is propylene glycol methyl ether. Acts as an active solvent for solvent-based coatings, active and tail solvent for solvent based gravure and flexographic printing inks, and coupling agent for in solvent-blends for water-based gravure, flexographic and silk screen printing inks. Exhibits moderate evaporation and high dilution rate. Possesses coupling ability, low viscosity and low surface tension. DOWANOL™ PM is used in coatings, gravure and flexographic printing inks and silk screen printing inks.
